Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas FORCED To Move Out Of Their $20 Million Los Angeles Home; Lawsuit Against The Seller Pending- REPORT
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had to vacate their beautiful Los Angeles home due to water damage, a legal battle with the seller has been ongoing since May 2023
Actress Priyanka Chopra and her musician husband Nick Jonas have been setting couple goals ever since they tied the knot together in 2018. They went on to purchase a luxurious home in Los Angeles for reportedly $20 million, in September 2019, after their wedding celebrations. They had built their home there along with their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. Well, according to a few media reports, the celebrity couple was forced to vacate the property.
As reported by the Hindustan Times, they had to leave their home due to mold infection, that was caused by water damage. A legal battle for the same has been ongoing since May 2023. The couple has moved into another property with the daughter. While it is unclear when they will be moving back the media publication quoted a source by Page Six stating that currently no one is living in the mansion and it’s not being rented to anyone. Talking about the issues with the 41-year-old actress’ Los Angeles home, a lawsuit was filed against the seller back in May 2023. According to the report, Priyanka and Nick started to face problems around April 2020 in the pool and spa area, including “porous waterproofing” that “fostered mold contamination and related issues.” At the same time, there was a water leak in the barbeque area on the deck. As per their complaints, the leak “damaged a portion of the interior living area immediately below the deck.” According to the media reports, the couple will be seeking consequential damages from their seller. For the unversed, Priyanka and Nick got hitched in 2018 at Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace in lavish ceremonies after dating for a couple of years. They welcomed their first daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas in 2022 via surrogacy. The proud parents are often seen taking to social media to share glimpses of their daughter.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra has an exciting slate of upcoming projects. She was last seen in the Russo brothers' spy thriller Citadel, co-starring Richard Madden and Love Again. She has Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt as well as John Cena and Idris Elba's starrer Heads Of State in the pipeline. On the other hand, Nick Jonas recently came to India, where his band Jonas Brothers performed during the Lollapalooza.
